Niam acquires residential development project in Greve, Denmark
Niam has entered into a binding agreement to acquire six apartment blocks with a total of 80 rental apartments in Greve, just outside Copenhagen. The project’s seller and developer, the Swedish-owned residential development company Bonava, will also be responsible for renting out the homes. The start of the project takes place this year and first tenants are expected to move in during the summer of 2022.
Niam signs largest real estate transaction ever in Denmark
Niam has signed an agreement to sell a Danish residential portfolio, which includes the real estate company HD Ejendomme, to Heimstaden. The agreed disposition price for the transaction is ~€1.63 billion (DKK 12.1 billion), which, according to Real Capital Analytics, makes this the largest real estate transaction ever in Denmark.
Niam acquires newly developed logistics facility in Stockholm
Niam has entered into an agreement with Logistic Contractor, part of the Wästbygg Group, for the acquisition of a logistics facility under construction in Farsta, south of central Stockholm. Niam will take over the turnkey property in connection with its completion during the first quarter of 2022.
Niam has entered into a binding agreement for the acquisition of 70 terraced houses in Hillerød Municipality in Greater Copenhagen area of Denmark. The residential units are acquired from Sophienberg Gruppen and Lemvigh-Müller. The sellers will deliver the units turnkey on June 1st, 2022.
Niam expands its property portfolio with 149 residentials in Denmark
Niam has entered into a binding agreement for the acquisition of 149 apartments in Farum Kaserne and Nærheden, in the attractive Greater Copenhagen area of Denmark. The residential units are divided into three properties and the apartments are modern and of very high quality.
Jennifer Andersson and Rikard Henriksson appointed acting Managing Partners of Niam
The Board of Directors of Niam, Northern Europe’s leading fund manager in real estate investments, has appointed Jennifer Andersson and Rikard Henriksson as acting Managing Partners. The previous CEO, Fredrik Jonsson, is stepping down with immediate effect. The process to recruit a new permanent CEO of Niam will begin immediately.
